Contests & Challenges
Yes, you can register for more than one Contest whenever a new one is announced, even if you are currently participating in an active Contest. If you participate in more than one Contest, you can enter each Contest as either as part of a Team, or a Solo Contestant.
You can also participate in as many other Cre8tiveBlast activities as you wish.
Yes, you can be a Contestant and a Voter.
Judges will consider each final story using a standardized rubric consisting of key elements for good fiction or non-fiction writing.
a. Judges will score each on a scale of 1 to 4, with 4 being the highest score. Votes from all Judges will be tallied for a Final Score to determine the Cre8tiveClash contest winner.

Your vote, along with other Cre8tiveBlast members, will be tallied and the results will be posted in the THE HOTSPOT.
Yes, you can participate as a Voter in more than one Contest, even if they are running at the same time, but you cannot vote more than once in the same Contest.
Anyone who is a member of the Cre8iveBlast Community can vote including friends, family and peers, as long as they are between the ages of 11 and 15 or currently in 6th, 7th, or 8th grades.
Yes, you can always invite your friends and family, who meet the age/grade requirements, to become Cre8tiveBlast members so that they can vote and take part in the other Cre8tiveBlast activities.
All stories are permanently archived and ready to read in the Hot Reads section.
There will be prizes for winning stories and special designation as a “Hot Read”.
Challenges come in many forms and are open to the entire Cre8tiveBlastCommunity. They can, for example, be ‘brainteasers’, thought-provoking questions to respond to or even group projects.
- They are not necessarily ‘Contests’ with winners; there is no voting involved.
- The most interesting, unique or outstanding responses to a Challenge may be chosen to be highlighted in the results.
Absolutely, but you must be a member of Cre8tiveBlast. Members simply goto the Cre8tiveBlast Contact Us page and share their suggestions and creative ideas with us.
InWords is Cre8tiveBlast’s online dictionary made up of new words coined by Cre8tiveBlast members. To add your new, imaginative words and to post your comments about other members’ submissions, join the Cre8tiveBlast community.
