STEP 1: Select a Cre8tiveClash (contest), then create and submit your team (individual or group).
STEP 2: Once your team is confirmed set up your team page profile with a team avatar and team description.
STEP 3: Be sure to go to the RESOURCES Section under Cre8tiveClash and read the Do’s & Don’ts before starting to write your e-serial.
STEP 4: Fusion Room: On the Cre8tiveClash start date click on the “Fusion Room” button on your Team Page and begin writing in your Google doc. Contests will run for five (5) weeks.
NOTE: In the Fusion room, team members will be able to select individual colors to write in, edit copy and chat with each other.
STEP 5: Weekly, teams will have five (5) days to write another chapter of their e-serial. At the end of each five-day period, the document will lock and will be “view only”. Chapters are then posted and all Cre8tiveBlast members, including judges, will have the opportunity to read and comment.
NOTE: The maximum length of each weekly chapter is 1,500 words.
STEP 6: At the conclusion of the fifth and final week of the Cre8tiveClash, your team will have the opportunity to edit your entire e-serial, then finalize for submission.
STEP 7: VOTING: A panel of judges will select the overall winner of the Cre8tiveClash and a prize will be awarded to the winning contestant or team. Fans will also be able to vote for their favorite e-serial. At the conclusion of the contest all entries will be included in the Cre8tiveBlast Hot Reads Library.
